About MRHT —
Mountain Rose Horsemanship Training

MRHT began in 2006 with the goal of providing quality horse care and trustworthy training based upon the horse's instinctive needs and natural language. Since then, the focus has shifted from educating horses alone to equipping people to teach horses, enabling them to experience rewarding and long-lasting partnership with horses. Today, MRHT continues to deliver exceptional horse care while also providing people the opportunity to learn the art and pleasure of horsemanship in a safe and supportive environment.

Boarding at MRHT
Running horses at MRHT

Horse care at MRHT is designed around the horses' instinctive needs for safety, comfort, socialization, food, and play. Boarded horses live together in large paddocks based upon the natural herd hierarchy. They enjoy daily pasture turnout, are fed free-choice, top-quality grass hay, and have continual access to salt and minerals.

Please note that because MRHT operates as a horsemanship training facility, horses that reside at MRHT are required to be part of the horsemanship program.
